The lawsuit charged that Pneumo Abex LLC and Honeywell International Inc., and their corporate predecessors were aware of the asbestos exposure in the plant but neglected to inform the employees and customers. The compensation was $3.5 million against both defendants, as well as punitive damages of $4.37 million against Pneumo Abex and $10 against Honeywell.
